Matunga is a melting pot of sorts, with rumba, South Indian supplies, legendary Parsi restaurants, and some delicious pav bhaji. Who’d have guessed? We’ll start with the obvious, but keep reading for a comprehensive list of things to do in Matunga!
· Flower Market: There are flowers of every kind, including varieties other than roses and marigolds. It starts at an insane hour of 4 a.m. and closes at 8 a.m.
· South Indian Breakfast: If you’re not a true blue Mumbaikar, go to whichever one is closest to where you are – Cafe Madras, Cafe Mysore, Ramashraya, Arya Bhavan, Sharda Bhavan, Ayyappan Idli, the list goes on.
